Performs professional level duties related to Human Resources (HR), including but not limited to, responsibilities in the following areas: employee relations, training, employment, compliance and recognition.  Assists the HR Manager to ensure operational effectiveness and exceptional customer service to the leadership and employment population.

  • Implement HR goals, processes, practices and systems to build organizational and people capability (i.e. staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relations)
  • Implement workforce planning and forecasting initiatives in alignment with site and corporate HR processes and goals
  • Collaborate with site HR and Operations leadership in order to provide advice on HR, labor regulatory issues; assisting with employment and compliance based investigations and providing coaching to leaders to support effective relationships with their employees
  • Implement cost effective and practical HR solutions while ensuring the ability to attract and retain required skills
  • Implement projects as directed by site HR leadership, facilitating change management, engagement, coaching and advising of stakeholders
  • Utilize Corporate support resources to deliver tactical and operational support by ensuring effective delivery
  • Implement HR improvements as directed in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency in the site
  • Perform other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional Human Resources experience, OR
  • Master’s degree and one (1) year of professional Human Resources experience
