The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with an international gold producer, is working together to source a professional and experienced talent for their operation in Ivory Coast. Our client has selected Globe 24-7 as a recruitment partner to successfully source the position of HR Coordinator for a contract of 18 months and add value to the wider recruitment strategy with market knowledge, trends and a track record in conducting similar searches.

The Role

  • Supervise the payroll process

  • Supports full cycle recruitment process organization wide including: job descriptions, job posting, company website update, screening, job offer, HR records, orientation and developing all recruitment materials.

  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met

  • Ensures all HR programs are executed efficiently and effectively.

  • Supports the implementation and execution of core HR programs and new HR software.

  • Preparation of Corporate annual salary increase spreadsheet, communicating changes to HR teams, drafting letters for employees.

  • Keep up to date with international employment law as it pertains to the countries in which we operate, making appropriate recommendations.

  • Provide HR data for the Corporation's monthly report.

  • Organize and monitor visas, work permits, tax briefings and other aspects of globally mobile assignees or transferring employees.

  • Prepare Contracts, Offer letters, Secondment and Settlement agreements.


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HR in an industrial company.

  • Extensive experience in payroll and HR administration

  • Experience of working in Africa.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources is advantage.

  • Experience with a wide range of human resources practices related to recruitment, performance management, training and compensation.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Detail oriented with analytical mind set to analyse HR related data, issues, etc

  • Values driven with a highly developed sense and demonstration of ethical behaviour.

  • Good organizational and planning skills.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and deal with competing priorities.

  • Fluent French & English.
