Under general supervision, provide technical expertise and leadership in the scheduling and prioritizing of contractor activities at assigned site.  Oversee the activities and audits for safety, quality, and production/efficiency and serve as site expert and company representative.
  • Establish and monitor planned contractor schedules for plant/equipment within assigned area
  • Conduct and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders
  • Review and assist in prioritizing work schedules
  • Develop tools and methods to assist the operating and support departments in communicating contractor needs for their areas and follows up on contractor work quality and completion
  • Responsible for supporting the Area Supervisor in all facets of contractor job preparation, participate in bid walks for contractor estimates, help write job scopes, create work orders, code work orders, handle emergencies, help with Blue Stake/Environmental requests, execution and follow up as prescribed by the CMS standards and work processes; this includes readiness of resources, work execution, quality control and fulfilling all reporting requirements
  • Ensure contractors meet the area work schedule requirements
  • Monitor, ensure and report that safety, manpower, work force skill requirements and work quality standards are met through audits
  • Collaborate with Area Planners, Area Supervisors and Contractor Management Planners in the long range planning and scheduling for major production shutdowns that will require outside services support, including but not limited to job identification, job priority, outside services requirements, material requirements, scope writing, and contractor coordination
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering or a related field, with no experience required
