Supports North America operations’ Leave Management (LM) by administering open leave cases. Maintains appropriate communication and documentation with employees through leave duration, analyzing and terminating leaves as depicted by company policies and procedures. Responds to escalated HRSC Service Center inquiries. Directs employees to appropriate resources for transactions handled by other LM Reps or departments.

  • Process and administer leaves, including assisting employees in determining leave type, sending detailed information packages to employees on leave, continuously updating leave information in the leave tracking system, coding the employee timesheets appropriately
  • Maintain contact, both verbal and written, with employees regarding leaves, ensuring necessary employee status information is provided
  • Coordinate information with appropriate internal resources in site HR and site Safety and with external third-party administrators
  • Process and resolve all types of Leave Management administration requests from inception to full completion
  • Maintain confidentiality, high degree of data accuracy, high quality customer service
  • Collaborate with peers to conduct research, investigate inquiries and provide resolution to escalations
  • Deliver on designated service level metrics and customer satisfaction results and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with peers, Tier 2 Analysts and the business to improve and implement Leave Management solutions and service delivery
  • Work independently and manage large workloads effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • Perform other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency typically obtained with two (2) years of experience in Human Resources or Leave/Disability environment, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment
