Job Description:

Arion construction partnering with an international gold producer Endeavour Mining is looking for an efficient HR Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR duties.

The Company

Arion Construction is specialized in carrying out development and infrastructure construction operations and is responsible for Gold Greenfield Project in Ivory Coast. Globe 24-7 has been selected as a recruitment partner to successfully source the position of HR Coordinator.

The Position

HR Coordinator must have a broad knowledge of Human Resources and payroll process, performing various tasks to assist with the daily operations of the company's human resources department for a contract of 18 months for the mine site Ity, Ivory Coast.

The Responsibilities

  • Supervise the payroll process, ensure that payroll claims are fixed, collect information and set up a monthly reporting for HR with a strategic value

  • Support full cycle recruitment process organization wide including: job descriptions, job posting, company website update, screening, job offer, HR records, orientation and developing all recruitment materials.

  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met

  • Ensures all HR programs are executed efficiently and effectively.

  • Supports the implementation and execution of core HR programs and new HR software.

  • Preparation of Corporate annual salary increase spreadsheet, communicating changes to HR teams, drafting letters for employees.

  • Participation in other HR administration processes.

The Requirements

  • 3 -8 years' experience in HR in an industrial company.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources is an advantage.

  • Extensive experience in payroll with a payroll system (administrator or super user)

  • Good knowledge of the law especially in taxes and social contribution calculation

  • Sound knowledge of MS office

  • Strong abilities to synthetize and interpret data and abilities with numbers

  • Experience with a wide range of human resources practices related to recruitment, performance management, training and compensation, HR administration

  • Detail oriented with analytical mind set to analyse HR related data, issues, etc

  • Values driven with a highly developed sense and demonstration of ethical behaviour.

  • Good organizational and planning skills.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and deal with competing priorities.

  • Fluent French & English.
