Ensures the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems run smoothly and efficiently. Performs installation and service, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of main cooling/heating systems
  • Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, coils, compressors, etc.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Minimum Qualifications

    • One (1) year of applicable experience in Residential or Commercial HVAC Maintenance and Installation
    • Able to use a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Office
    • Demonstrate basic knowledge of HVAC systems
    • Demonstrate the ability to understand the hazards associated with working on/around HVAC equipment, troubleshooting HVAC refrigerant, electrical (480/208 3 phase and 120 volt), and gas systems
    • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment including filter change, coil cleaning, basic equipment inspection, and functional operation check
    • Ability to effectively record and communicate equipment defects
    • Ability to assist with basic installation and repair of HVAC equipment
    • Self-motivated and willing to work with, and be a contributing member of the HVAC team
    • Good communication skills with the ability to communication with all employees at all levels
