Create, review, update and deliver learning and assessment programs to a culturally diverse range of learners. Contribute as a recognized expert member of a larger team of educational professionals, demonstrating at all times, those behaviors that fully support technical training values, policies and procedures.

  • Lead project teams, which fully support and enhance the Company’s ability to achieve objectives
  • Evaluate and assess current material, as well as new and emerging trends, for use in creation and delivery of enhanced courses
  • Develop and communicate learning program schedules, implement schedules to ensure that programs are delivered as planned and meet customer requirements
  • Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up-to-date and recorded in the Company Learning Management System
  • Respond to customer learning and development, provide appropriate support and advice to assist technical training meet/exceed customer expectations
  • Develop the skills of persons within the company whose duties may include training or facilitation so that they can effectively deliver and assess a wide range of learning or presentation events
  • Train and mentor facilitators inside and outside of the Instructor Professional Development team
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of directly related experience in the appropriate trade and/or as a Technical Instructor, OR
  • Ten (10) years of directly related experience in the appropriate trade and/or as a Technical Instructor
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Demonstrated ability to apply professionally accepted principles of adult learning
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of current learning and development models
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and Learning and Content Management Systems
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate students in facilitator lead or web-based learning programs
  • Self-motivated and proactive, ability to work in a team or independently
  • Ability to travel 25% or more
