Efficiently and accurately process payroll for various US locations utilizing the payroll system in a shared services environment.  
  • Responsible for processing payrolls for locations across the US using the  payroll system
  • Provide assistance to branch personnel regarding application of pay practices, processing of payrolls and the generation of reports and queries
  • Resolve payroll related employee questions and problems
  • Count, balance and distribute payroll checks
  • Assist with data entry, file maintenance, and distribution of payroll information and account analysis in payroll and payroll tax related areas
  • Assist with payroll account reconciliation research
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures, laws and regulations
  • Aptitude for math
  • Detail orientated
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks proficiently
  • Must be able to provide courteous and professional customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work with general office equipment such as a personal computer and keyboard, facsimile machines and photocopier
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
