This position is located at the Henderson Mill site off of CO-9 between Kremmling, CO and Silverthorne, CO. This is a rural, alpine area approximately 2 hours from the Denver metropolitan area. The mill is at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet.  In the winter the average high temperature is 28 degrees and the average low is 0 degrees. In the summer the average high temperature is 75 degrees and the average low is 40 degrees. The average snowfall in Summit/Grand counties is in excess of 250 inches per year.
 
A Mill Crush/Convey (C/C) Operator I performs duties related to the operation of Henderson Mill. Operates material handling equipment such as conveyors, transfer chutes, belt scrapers and cleaning equipment and small mobile equipment such as bobcats, skid steer loaders, CAT 910 loaders, forklifts, manlifts, overhead cranes and pickup trucks. 
  • Operate/control processing equipment per operating guidelines
  • Perform area housekeeping to include tasks such as shoveling, using fire hose and digging
  • Operate processing and mobile equipment
  • Monitor equipment and enter data via computer
  • Identify and report machinery maintenance needs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least six (6) months of experience in the trade
