We are looking for a Branch Manager - Senior Recruitment Consultant located in Perth to work in the Asia Pacific market.

As Branch Manager/Senior Recruitment Consultant with Globe 24-7, you can expect to work hard, be required to travel locally and internationally and be well rewarded for success with virtually unlimited upside potential. An understanding and good comprehension of the roles and processes in the mining / resources industry is critical to this job. We believe you can't establish client and candidate rapport without having this and therefore applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in the mining/resource's environment.


The Position
The Branch Manager/Senior Recruitment Consultant - Asia-Pacific will be responsible for the growth and successful delivery of Globe 24-7's offerings by successfully acquiring new clients, managing and deep selling into current ones and either directly placing suitably skilled and experienced personnel into mining operations throughout the world or managing the process through the team, particularly in the Asia Pacific Region. This will be achieved by committing time in managing and developing the team as well as developing strong relationships with Clients and Candidates within the local and international resources markets of your region. Additionally, the role shall support marketing and business development activities as set out by our CEO and Global Manager, Business Development.


The Responsibilities
Management



  • Develop a strategy the team will follow to reach the regional and company goals

  • Develop and deliver training where applicable

  • Ensure the recruitment process is adhered to per Globe's standards

  • Communicate clear instructions to team members

  • Listen to team members' feedback, act on them and escalate where necessary

  • Monitor team members' participation to ensure KPI's are being met, and identify further needs for training

  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations

  • Generate reports to show status, scalability and offer suggestions to make changes

  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties

  • Manage existing and develop new client and candidate contacts


Business Development



  • Proactively build strong relationships that identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Increase prospect and client database by ensuring constant communication

  • Participate in promotional activities of the Globe 24-7 business as required

  • Promote the Globe 24-7 business whenever possible when in communication with Clients & Candidates

  • Creatively develop business development and revenue generation strategies

  • Invest 30% of the time on active business generation activities

  • Arrange a minimum of 2 business trips/year with a full agenda within your region

  • Arrange a minimum of 1 mine site visit / year

  • Expand Client Base through industry contacts, marketing campaigns, events, etc


Client Management



  • Gather information relevant to client job requests including job specifications, salary information, work conditions etc

  • Project manage the identification and location of suitably skilled and qualified Candidates on behalf of Client requests

  • Write and prepare advertisements using company preferred advertising methods

  • Update Client details into the database with assistance from the Recruitment Administrator (as required) so that information is up-to-date and accurate

  • Work with our clients to assist their Search needs as required

  • Thoroughly follow-up with Clients regarding outstanding applications, interviews, reference checks, placements etc

  • Manage accounts to deep sell into them and ensure they have a smooth, consistent and predictable experience to have them repeat business with us.


Recruitment and Candidate Management



  • Interview candidates

  • Prepare candidate short-lists and reports

  • Promote suitable applicants by preparing 'Candidate Profiles' for Client review

  • Assist in contract negotiations, employee offers & contract preparations as required

  • Maintain a current and accurate list that easily identifies quality Candidates for reverse marketing purposes

  • Keep in regular contact with Candidates that are both current and on the Reverse Marketing List

  • Keep up to date records of day-to-day activities on the timesheet

  • Ensure records are kept in line with legislative requirements and company standards

  • Maintain up-to-date information on both the 'Job List' and within the database

  • Keep management and users informed as to work status and progress on a regular basis


Others



  • Ensure that Globe 24-7 quality, legal, audit and service standards are always met

  • Comply with Globe 24-7's vision, goals and values

  • Perform other duties as required consistent with job purpose


The Requirements
First and foremost, we look for enthusiastic and results driven people who love to work hard and can display the following skills and experience:



  • Strong leadership and managerial skills

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the International Resources sector

  • Extensive knowledge of Business Development and Consulting principles

  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment processes, practices, principles, systems and industry standards

  • Knowledge of Bullhorn system or similar database

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Professional approach to work and personal presentation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to develop effective relationships with Clients, Candidates and staff

  • Ability to quickly respond to Client requests without compromising quality

  • Ability to close deals

  • Ability to work effectively on a number of tasks concurrently

  • Ability to deal calmly, pleasantly, co-operatively and constructively with Clients, Candidates and staff

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people in verbal and written techniques

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to exercise judgement and initiative

  • Ability to pursue problem resolutions through various avenues using all tools available

  • Ability to work in a small team environment with minimal supervision

  • Ability to think innovatively, including a capacity to proactively identify and respond to relevant issues of both long-term and immediate importance to Globe 24-7

  • Proven recruitment experience in the international mining industry (i.e. North-and Latin America, Africa, Europe, Asia Pacific) or a similar heavy industry such as oil & gas, energy and construction.

  • Strong commitment to delivering results for both client and candidates

  • Willingness to travel domestically and overseas as required

  • Excellence in customer service and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Well-developed time management and communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Experience in a Recruitment Management system or database application (FastTrack preferred)

  • Familiarity with mining "language" and confidence to converse with mining personnel at all levels throughout the world is an asset

  • Passion and enthusiasm for recruitment in the mining industry and a good knowledge of the roles and organization structures in the industry is an asset

  • Experience selling RPO's and Search will be an asset
