The Coordination and preparation of all required U.S. state income tax return filings.  The position requires broad understanding of U.S. state income tax law and an in depth understanding of U.S. income tax law.

  • Coordinate and preparation of U.S. state income tax filings, including quarterly estimated tax payments and amended returns as required
  • Preparation of complex multistate apportionment calculations
  • Monitor and maintain state tax filings, calendar
  • Assistance with quarterly and annual state income tax provisions, including model updates for ongoing changes to state income tax law
  • Tax research, analysis and planning associated with multistate taxation
  • Assist with state income tax audits
  • Assist with other tax projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field and five (5) years of experience in Tax and/or Accounting; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field and two (2) years of experience as an Accountant for a public accounting firm
  • Experience preparing Corporate tax returns
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
