This position is located at the Henderson Mine, which is in an underground mine plant setting at an elevation of 10,800 feet above sea level. This may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles.

Under general supervision, troubleshoot process automation solutions to support Operators and Process Engineers.

  • Troubleshoot discrete, continuous and advanced control, controller equipment and software, and the HMI
  • Investigate the root cause(s) of poor performing processes, identify any process automation contributors, and execute corrective actions
  • Troubleshoot alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot basic process instrumentation (basic sensors and actuation)
  • Troubleshoot PCS industrial communication networks and the plant historian
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering relevant to Process Automation, OR
  • Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in Engineering relevant to Process Automation
