As a key storyteller in our organization, you will be responsible for developing, planning and executing the Company’s content strategy across multiple digital and traditional communications channels. You have a passion for not just telling a story, but also everything that goes behind it – finding the stories, visualizing, brainstorming, shaping, fine-tuning, and talking through them – even getting the story out. To do this, you must work across company lines to find, create, compile, schedule and appropriately amplify content. You will lead and develop the team responsible for creating a broad range of content from long-form pieces to social media posts to employee stories. Basically, good storytelling is what drives you.


We are a recently expanded department comprised of communications professionals from around the company now focusing on a single goal – telling engaging, informative stories about our employees and our company. If you would like to be part of our team, apply for the manager position below.

  • Identify and package enterprise stories that support the Company’s business and reputational goals, reach key internal and external audiences with Company messaging and build awareness and action among key influencers, partners and advocates.
  • Develop and manage a new, proactive storytelling architecture and “Newsroom”-style communications system for the company using appropriate content management software to track requests and usage.
  • Be fluent in social media/content management software, including Coschedule, Trello, Hootsuite, Project and TweetReach.
  • Work with Company leaders to develop strategic, creative content and distribution strategies for company stories across owned, digital, online and social media channels. Work in close partnership with leadership in other departments and at sites to aggregate content ideas, align messages and news flow and strategically leverage, amplify and publicize story development and curated content.
  • Lead the team responsible for developing content. Manage direct report workflow. Set team’s content goals and ensure they align with Company strategy. Develop and manage team content flow to keep pace with messaging needs across the company. Effectively coach, mentor and proactively support employee involvement and development. Counsel employees on performance standards.
  • Provide counsel and direction to various departments/sites on content creation tactics and timing, and any necessary writing to support initiatives.
  • Provide customer service that supports corporate functional group communication goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communications or similar field or equivalent and ten (10) years of relevant experience developing and managing compelling, innovative and engaging content and communications campaigns
  • Business acumen (financial/market conditions, industry activities; communications technology)
  • Relevant knowledge, interest, and experience in digital and mobile communications, storytelling and content
  • Excellent command of grammar and knowledge of AP writing style
  • Excellent writer and storyteller
  • Detail-oriented; strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills
  • Strong work ethic and able to work at a fast pace, while maintaining high accuracy and quick turnaround time on assigned projects
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to seek and value input. High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists, and the general employee population
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
