An understanding and good comprehension of the roles and processes in the mining industry is critical to this job. We believe you can't establish client and candidate rapport without having this and therefore applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in the mining / resources environment.


The Role


Reporting to the VP of Operations you will be responsible for:



  • Execute the business development strategies as set by the company

  • Manage existing and develop new client and candidate contacts

  • Work with our clients to assist their Search needs as required

  • Assist in contract negotiations, employee offers & contract preparations as required

  • Expand Client Base through industry contacts, marketing campaigns, events, etc


Our Requirements


First and foremost, we look for enthusiastic and results driven people who love to work hard and can display the following skills and experience:



  • Proven recruitment experience in the international mining industry (i.e. North-and Latin America, Africa, Europe, Australia) or a similar heavy industry such as oil & gas

  • Passion and enthusiasm for recruitment in the mining industry and a good knowledge of the roles and organization structures in the industry

  • Strong commitment to delivering results for both client and candidates

  • Familiarity with mining "language" and confidence to converse with mining personnel at all levels throughout the world

  • Willingness to travel domestically and overseas as required

  • Excellence in customer service and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Well-developed time management and communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Experience in a Recruitment Management system or database application (Bullhorn preferred)
