Responsible for leading North & South America’s copper concentrate administrative sales & cash collections process, and the related analysis to ensure optimization of revenue and cash collections, in accordance with the overall Sales Company’s goals and objectives in a collaborative manner with the relevant accounting/finance and treasury. Leading & administering intercompany commercial transactions. Supervision of the America’s Concentrate Sales Administration Team in the corporate office.
  • Lead copper concentrate contract allocation throughout current year and five year (tonnage/concentrate sales agreements) for the North & South American business units optimizing revenue and cash collections, including lead of contract binder administration.
  • Supervise, communicate, motivate and inspire Sales Administration Team (2 Senior Sales Analysts, 1 Sales Coordinator and 1 Sales Admin Assistant), including yearly team performance evaluations, critical deadlines and resolving customer complaints.  Lead proficiency-training program, incorporating cross training aimed at enhancing team performance and increasing work efficiency.  Develop and train existing and new team members for advancement.  Responsible for process development revisions, improvements and development of new processes. Interact and advise senior management, by resolving contractual issues, letter of credits, revenue recognition, cash collections and other transactions with potential significant impact to the company, focusing on opportunities to improve efficiencies and promote cost awareness in all areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis of various sales planning and analytical models necessary to manage the forecasting, letter of credit, and assay exchange efforts both domestically and internationally.  These include but not limited to letter of credit bank allocations model, netback analysis, interest calculations, distribution optimization models including truck vs. rail analyses, production and sales balances, commercial sales term analysis by customer/mine/country of sale, customer contract terms summaries required to administer contract and summaries of sales terms to be negotiated annually.
  • Lead the forecasting process with sales for North and South America enabling effective planning with and/or without constraints. Entering and validating the Copper Concentrate Sales Contracts (Intercompany and Third Party) in the SAP system annually and ad hoc basis.
  • Lead and coordinate critical month-end task during month and critical two-day deadline.
  • Develop and maintain, as needed master data, reporting, key performance metrics and ad-hoc analyses as required including EDW and Power Bi. 
  • Support/back-up sales and logistic manager daily task including absences as needed.
  • Create sales reports and data analytics to use in decision-making using SAP. Organize and communicate the analytics in a readily consumable form for SAP Commercial Team including malfunctions and enhancements.   Implement new process to end users.  May partner with MIS on special projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years experience in broad-based business analysis and management within a multi-disciplinary environment; in any combination of finance, accounting, information services, forecasting or commodity sales, including two (2) years supervisory or lead experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), database programs.
  • Skill in effective communication, both written and verbal
