The Role:

We are seeking an Operational Fixed Plant Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer. Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent you will be required to provide fixed plant mechanical reliability engineering expertise and oversee all reliability processes occurring in an area that you're assigned to in the plant.

  • Must be a PNG National currently working at a Senior Fixed Plant Mechancial Reliability level in PNG that hold significant Senior Reliability expereince in Fixed Plant Mineral Processing plants.

  • Advanced SAP expereince.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years relevant work experience essential.

  • Working knowledge of current asset management / reliability engineering concepts and methodologies essential.

  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance and reliability engineering roles in minerals processing, including supervisory experience.

  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.

  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training.

  • Tertiary qualified bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar - essential.

  • Post graduate studies in the Asset Management field - desirable

  • Certificate in Workplace Assessment and Training or similar - desirable.


  • Must be a PNG National and open to work in the country

  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
