Globe 24-7 is in search of an RPO Project Manager, based at a safe and picturesque gold mine in Papua New Guinea on a residential basis. The incumbent will be responsible for the team of recruiters, managing client relationships, end to end recruitment life cycle, and will provide proactive and effective candidate sourcing strategies to the client. The RPO Project Manager will report directly to the Project Sponsor and will be responsible for leading the team of Senior Consultants, Recruitment Consultants and support staff to achieve great outcomes for the client and Globe 24-7.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage RPO (Globe's) team and act as the main point of contact for the site HR team

  • Develop and define recruitment strategy with Hiring Leaders

  • Manage RPO project teams to ensure delivery strategy achieved based on manpower plan

  • Manage the RPO program on agreed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements

  • Project Status and Progress Report presentation (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc)

  • Engage and develop relationships with Hiring Leaders and HR to optimise time to hire

  • Project optimisation and resolution authority at program level

  • Recommend and oversee implementation of ATS for RPO program, where necessary

The Requirements

As a successful candidate it is essential that you possess the following skills, experience and competencies:

  • Qualification in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related is desirable

  • Minimum 8 years in a recruitment and/or HR position

  • Experience in a management or leadership position is essential

  • Experience working as an expatriate in a developing country would be advantageous

  • Experience within the Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, Petroleum or Engineering Industries is essential

  • Previous experience recruiting within APAC is highly advantageous

  • Knowledge of end to end recruitment lifecycle and processes

  • Previous experience working onsite on an RPO would be advantageous

  • Excellent organisational, computer and communication skills are essential

  • Flexible with a high capacity to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
