Globe 24-7 is in search of a People Mobility Coordinator with background in project or expat affairs management to be in charge of all travel, pre-employment assessments (medical, police, educational), onboarding documentation and induction process. The right individual will be very organized and hold internal clients and peers accountable to the schedule. Also they will posses the ability to multi-task across the different areas of responsibility to deliver timely reports and ensure all documentation is kept confidentially and up to date.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with providers of Pre-employment assessments (medical, criminal / police, education) to obtain clearance for hiring of new employees

  • Coordinate a large amount (>100's ) of scheduling candidate through assessments and travel

  • Identify opportunities to improve time of delivery with candidates and service providers

  • Manage and book travel for visiting candidates and project team

  • Deliver weekly and ad-hoc reports on the status of all candidates' processes

  • Lead onboarding documentation collection and induction process for new hires

  • Maintain all documentation in a clear and confidential database

  • Coordinate Bullhorn Database to manage candidate information and hiring process, confidentially

  • Communicate with Senior Recruiter and wider team on status

  • Coordinate and plan locations for assessments, where necessary

  • Availability to travel; this position will be based at site (Lihir Gold Mine) with a 15/13 roster (15 days on, 13 days off)

The Requirements

As a successful candidate it is essential that you possess the following skills, experience and competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree, Project Management Certificate or proven "on the job" experience

  • Bilingual in Tok Pisin and English. Hiri Motu proficiency would be considered an asset

  • 5 years experience in a Project based or administrative position

  • Strong planning and organization skills

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Ability to multitask effectively with a calm disposition

  • Comfortable with technology (will need to use excel and internal Bullhorn database)

  • Integrity / Confidentiality - able to keep results of Pre-Employment Assessments with integrity and not share/release confidential information (e.g. results)

  • Flexible with a high capacity to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
