Job Description:

Ambatovy Joint Venture operation in Madagascar, is recruiting an experienced manager Asset Integrity who will be required to Lead the Asset Integrity teams to achieve world class asset management

The Role
This position reports to the Hiring leader and is required to ensures that the elements to maintain and monitor asset integrity are in place while striving to achieve name plate production in a sustainable way.


Responsibilities



  • Development of the Asset Integrity department in order to apply ISO. 55000 standard to achieve a high performance asset.

  • Development of Maintenance and operating strategies lead to optimized asset life cycle integrity and management

  • Regulatory Inspection and Control


    • Create a strategic plan for regulatory inspections and re-qualification for pressure vessels from 2020 to 2035

    • Develop the strategy for statutory inspections / requalification to be carried out by Ambatovy

    • Define the techniques to be applied to guarantee the integrity of the assets (Pipes, tanks, etc.)

    • Defining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) to be applied for all assets (flange management, welding, Pipes, tanks, etc.)

    • Ensure Ambatovy standards are maintained and regulatory obligations are met.


  • Maintenance Planning


    • Work management is optimized to ensure maximized productivity and production.

    • Define the Planning Strategy aligned with the Ambatovy Guidelines.

    • Develop a planning with international standards in order to have the proper management of PM's, manpower, spare parts, logistic (cranes, scaffolding, etc.), WO, kitting shops, PSVs, KPI's, Cost Control and Budget

    • Interact with all stakeholders involved to develop its tasks in order to maximize availability, output and optimize maintenance costs

    • Development of the planning department focusing on the recruitment and training of planners, improvement of the planning tool, development of the work management model and development of the synergies with the maintenance execution teams.


  • Lubrication


    • Apply the techniques in accordance to the international Consul of Machinery standards, ICML55


  • Reliability and Condition Monitoring


    • Development of the Reliability and condition monitoring systems to improve data interpretation and utilization to adapt our maintenance strategies and planning accordingly.

    • Continuous improvement through reliability leads to increased production.


  • Development of the EAM system to support the business efficiently in a cost-effective manner.

  • Management Reporting: Develop and issue KPI's that will allow Maintenance management to monitor performance.


The Requirement
Engineering Degree only
Certification in reliability centres maintenance, asset integrity, planning and condition monitoring is desirable
Previous experience in similar business environment.
Min 15 years of overall experience in industrial Asset Management.
Min 10 years' experience in different supervision roles in Asset management development in large scale industrial projects.
Previous experience in quality assurance and quality control principles applicable to an industrial environment
Proven knowledge in pressure equipment inspection strategies and related regulations.
Previous exposure to recruitment and supervision of a multi-national workforce in developing countries.
Experience in Lean processes
Strong understanding of the development of maintenance systems and processes.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Training and developing subordinates to assume positions of greater responsibility in the organization.
Fluency in English, Fluency in French is advantageous.
