Summary:
This role will support and report to the leased facility technical team. A highly motivated, self starter with a proven technical skillset focused in electrical engineering, data center operations, and/or controls is required. Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with company Safety Policy and Procedures. Regularly inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system upgrades. Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs. Create, review, and implement site specific MPs and SOPs. 50 FacOps Assets/MW, asset tagged and bulk "received" in tointo inventory/SeRF and CMMS to include certain key Landlord assets (i.e. MSBs, SBs, UPS, and PDUs) for maintenance/impact coordination.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an onsite technical resource of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment, with an emphasis on practical field operation
Ensure appropriate cross-functional collaboration between local electrical team and applicable local and global teams
Contribute to electrical safety program for site
Plan resource, author or approve work procedures to cover electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities, with an emphasis on assessing & mitigating personnel and critical systems and operational risk
Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Oversee electrical system configurations and component upgrades to ensure system integrity is maintained and that all modifications to existing systems are in compliance with best practices, including change control processes
Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of construction projects & maintenance activity
Lead and/or participate in root-cause analysis activities in area of expertise
Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross functional teams on electrical equipment, systems, procedures, and changes
Manage vendor relationships for electrical maintenance and retrofit work
Provide feedback on global electrical maintenance strategies and global electrical system design improvements
Requirements:
Strong Mech/EE Background
Project Management Skills
Design and procedure reviews (blueprints, work auth, SOPs)
NFPA 70e compliance work
Data center exp - specifically infrastructure engineering (power, controls and cooling up to and including the busways that power the racks)
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
