- Control, issue and ordering or tooling as required for the machine shop
- Maintenance of cutting tools
- Control, issue and ordering of raw material as required for machined components
- Record keeping, storage and control of jigs and tooling for production machined parts
- Record keeping, storage calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments used in the manufacturing process
- Control and delivery of finished components
