Electrical Engineer 1

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer 1 in Rapid City, SD. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. compensation is $25/hr + benefits.

Our customer is the largest construction equipment manufacturer in the world.

The main function of an electrical engineer is to design, develop, test or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military or scientific use. A typical electrical engineer has the ability to work on 2D/3D models of senor group, harness, schematics, and supporting fixturing.

• Position's Contributions to Work Group:Create sensor group
• Create and route harness
• Modify schematics
• Interpret prints and standards
• Design detail/model supporting brackets
• Interaction with team:Individual will work closely with team members and project lead to identify workload priorities, changes in work requirements, updates to standards, and customer needs.

• Education & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in engineering required ( no 2 year degrees accepted)
• 0-2 years' experience
• Willing to accept master's degree

Technical Skills

• (Required) Experience with electrical routing
• Blueprint reading
• Preferred Creo but not required

• (Desired) Manufacturing knowledge
• Schematics knowledge
• Previous work experience in electrical
