Senior Electro Mechanical Engineer

Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of aerospace-grade electro-mechanical components, including high-power contactors and magnetic coils
• Conduct root cause investigations and failure analysis for field and production issues
• Perform electromagnetic and thermal simulations (e.g., ANSYS) to validate design performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and enhance reliability
• Support legacy product upgrades, obsolescence management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and review technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, test procedures, and qualification plans
• Ensure designs meet aerospace environmental compliance and industry standards
• Provide technical input for proposals and support new business development

Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
• 8-12 years of experience in electro-mechanical design and development (aerospace preferred)
• Proficient in 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor), magnetic and thermal analysis, and engineering documentation
• Strong background in coil, solenoid, or actuator design and materials selection for high-reliability environments
• Hands-on experience with qualification testing and root cause analysis
