Electrical Engineer

Clayton Services is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Electrical Engineer will have previous experience working in the wastewater industry.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $120,000-$150,000/year

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the electrical design for wastewater projects
• Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations
• Support business development in presentation preparation and client questions
• Review supplier submittals
• Startup and testing of major electrical equipment
• Liaise between design team and client on projects
• Inspect construction and resolve electrical construction issues
• Act as the technical expert on electrical power distribution and plant electrical systems
• Other duties as assigned

Electrical Engineer Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Computer proficiency
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Engineering design software proficiency

• Electrical Engineer Education and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required. A master's is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience working as an electrical engineer in the wastewater industry is required.
• Some travel may be required approximately 10-20%
