Electrical Engineer

Onsite in Andover


Job Description:

This position is a mix of analysis of existing layouts and then build, test and modify prototypes using working models or comp simulated models. They need someone who is comfortable performing test/verification of circuits/modules/systems, but can also step in and help with design/development as needed. These are a mix of DSP and optical systems used in both Mil and Commercial applications.


Key: Redesign and modify existing designs., Analysis of various schematics and layouts



Skills:

  • Digital Hardware design and checking-they use several chips/processors: Intel, Xilinx, NVIDIA, TI, etc.
  • Experience in the design and verification/checking of high speed digital interfaces: Ethernet, PCIe, DDR SDRAM, etc
  • Experience w/DC/DC power, Clocking, JTAG, SPI, I2C, UARTs
  • Schematic Design (Cadence Allegro/DEHDL) and the ability to read/check CAD layouts and make design changes
  • Experience using lab tools: O-scope, Multimeters
  • BOM creation
