Senior Electrical Engineer

An Insight Global client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team fully onsite in Owings Mills. MD. In this role one will develop electronics & PCBs for embedded systems, solve electrical & software problems, and build medical devices of all kinds.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior engineers
• Work on a broad range of topics, including RF, battery optimization, wireless communication, microphones, synthetic radar, and control systems
• Manage 2-3 projects at a time, with involvement in around 10 projects overall
• Power optimization for battery management
• Design for wired and wireless communication/RF
• Analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, PLC's
• Experience working with FPGAs, ASICs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience
• High level of proficiency with technical engineering concepts
• KiCAD, ALTIUM
• Oscilloscope, PCB analysis & troubleshooting, soldering & PCB rework
