We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in Atlanta. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for institutional and government facilities.
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, civil, and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support project planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems design.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mechanical systems in higher education, healthcare, or federal facilities.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
  • Knowledge of local and national building codes.
