Mechanical Engineer

MECHANICAL ENGINEER-Scarborough, ON

Our client provides innovative paper converting solutions to customers worldwide. They have been manufacturing standard and custom converting machinery for over 40 years.

RESPONSIBITLITIES:

• Responsible for the mechanical design of specialty electro-mechanical paper converting equipment according to customer specifications from concept to completion.
• Interface with sales, other mechanical engineers, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and customer service while developing machine solutions to meet our customer's needs.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Mechanical Engineering.
• Design, develop and supervise all aspects of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• The ability to work in a team-oriented environment, manage design projects and to listen and accept input from various sources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required) and
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks Modeling experience
• Experience in the field of Printing & Paper Converting Machinery.
• Ability to travel around the world 4-5 times per year, must have valid passport
• Must a vehicle
• Fluent in English both Written and Oral.
