Sr. Electrical Engineer

ABOUT THIS JOB: We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Marina Del Rey, California. SUMMARY: This position is responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of Electrical components, equipment, and machinery. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Build long-term customer relationships with existing and potential customers. o Manages Electrical design projects by satisfying clients' needs, meeting budget expectations and project schedules. o Provides support during construction phases. o Understands engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of electrical engineering. o Manages a multi project workload as well as oversee the design work of other engineers. The successful candidate will be accountable for project coordination and quality, as well as budget adherence, and overall team communication. o Is responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects. o Leads multi-disciplinary team for mechanically focused projects. o Performs coordination with other disciplines on all projects. o Performs projects within established project budgets and schedules. o Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours. o Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: o Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering, or two to or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. o Certificates, licenses and registrations required: LEED Certification is a plus. o Computer skills required: Experienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and REVIT is a plus. Other skills required: o Experience in the following preferred: o Residential / Commercial / Multi-Family / Restaurants o Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are required. o Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications. o Ability to motivate multiple-discipline project teams in meeting client's needs in a timely manner and meeting budget objectives. o Must possess strong leadership and communication skills.
