Jr. Mechanical Engineer

Salary Range: $60k - $65k Permanent Position with Benefits Youngstown, Ohio area Engineering Firm seeks a junior or entry level Mechanical Design Engineer who can generate detailed 3D models in Autodesk Inventor. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineering 0-5 years of experience. Entry level is encouraged to apply. Mechanical design work to fabricate machinery for the chemical, gas and/or oil industries Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software. Read and understand dimensional drawings and technical specifications. Review customer and vendor specifications to prepare sourcing materials and equipment from vendors Assist in the design, and modification of piping systems, vessels, and steel structures based on required specifications, applicable codes and industry standards. Support Shop Floor Production and Supply Chain departments as needed. Participate in customer visits, shop tours, test runs, and conference calls. Write technical reports and maintain project documentation. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
