Mechanical Engineer

Salary Range: $65K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minimum of (1) year of hands-on experience working with in a precision assembly and/or manufacturing operation. Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GibbsCAM software programs. Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints. Able to review customer drawings to determine requirements and/or product feasibility. Researches alternative processing methods and the purchase of new equipment or upgrades to existing equipment. Able to design manufacturing work cells and product assembly workflow for multi-item product lines with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Provide technical support to ensure that operations, equipment, processes and procedures to produce and assemble products are in place to meet quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. Troubleshoot manufacturing and design issues and implements cost reduction ideas. Has a strong customer orientation and is able to effectively communicate, build relationships, present ideas, and partner with internal resources to meet customer needs. Serves as a technical representative of the company in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and providing solutions to their technical needs. Mentors and Trains Engineering and Production Staff.to meet Company Goals. Attention to detail in maintaining required records and reports. Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
