Mechanical Engineer Location: Irwindale, CA - day 1 onsite Key Skills: Mechanical Engineer, Solidworks, Sensor, Piping, VAVE 10-15 years of overall experience . Should have worked offshore and experienced working with Offshore teams from Onsite At least 3 to 5 years of Onsite experience Strong technical and communication skills Worked on projects for Manufacturing/Industrial companies Very good understanding of Electronics enclosure designs , connectors, PCB assembly, product Assembly/joining methods, components selections etc. Independently designs Mechanical components considering manufacturability, assembly, Reliability Excellent understanding of Manufacturing methodologies, prototyping methods, design verification methods, VAVE, Mold design etc. Excellent understanding of Mechanical enclosure requirements for environmental tests and regulatory certification standards. Expert in using at least CAD tools like Solidworks Closely work with Cross functional teams such as Hardware, Firmware, Software, PCB Layout Engineers etc during design, development and testing phases of the product.
