Job Description:

â Bachelor's degree in Engineering with preference for Chemical engineering background
â Primary technical support for multiple processing plants consisting of amine, dehydration, compression, condensate stabilization, and pumps.
â Work with operations staff to solve process, operational issues, and allocations of fluids.
â Identify and implement opportunities for increased efficiency and throughput of the plant.
â Identify and implement operational and capital cost savings.
â Provide support and direction to the operations to ensure compliance with Air Permits, SPCC plans, RMP, PSM and other regulatory requirements.
â Work with production engineers to ensure the plants have sufficient capacity and proactively identify changes in the inlet stream.
â Working within the HSSE standards primarily focused on the use of Management of Change procedures and incident investigation and prevention
â Provide input and review on new plants that are being engineered and constructed.
â Working conditions: 90% Houston office with regular trips to the field locations.

Requirements:
The Process Engineer will combine strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong understanding of plant operations and troubleshooting. A minimum of 5+ years of related experience is required along with an engineering degree.
â 5 years operational & modeling experience with a specific focus on hydrocarbon process treating (i.e. amine, dehydration and compression, liquid treatment including stabilization, PVT-thermodynamic models.)
â Plant and construction experience
â Upstream experience is a plus
â Hysys software experience is required or equivalent software
â Excellent computer skills with Office programs
â Excellent reasoning, analytical and technical skills
â Able to communicate both orally and in writing with good interpersonal skills.
â Highly organized and able to prioritize issues and focus on multiple project simultaneously
