Job Description
ENSCO Avionics, Inc. is seeking Engineers for Mechanical Design of Avionics Engine and Flight control computer assemblies including board level mechanical design. The assemblies will be utilized for next generation aircraft controls utilized in Boeing and Airbus high-capacity passenger air transit systems. Requirements through final design testing for production units. Designs will utilize CREO software and documentation will be configured and controlled in the Windchill system. Throughout the cycle the position will utilize industry best practice systems engineering and development processes and will consider both the business and the technical needs of the end-user with the goal of providing a quality product that satisfies those needs. Position will be an integral part of a diverse development team and must be willing to perform at whatever level is needed to complete the task.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
BSME degree, with minimum 2 years related experience
Experience with PRO-E or CREO Software
Experience with sub system component mechanical design
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Qualifications Desired
Experience with Board level Mechanical Design
Experience with Commercial/Military Avionic systems engineering process
Experience with Electronic interface tools such as Mentor Graphics
Automotive Mechanical Design
CM experience including DOORS and Windchill
