Position Overview:
Electronics manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Process Engineer for a client's facility located in Norwood, MA. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role as the technical lead in New Product Introduction (NPI) and provide essential process support and enhancement for established assembly processes, focusing on legacy products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong Process Development skills to set up and troubleshoot various standard printed circuit board assembly processes, including Screen-Printer setup, Placement Programming, AOI Programming, Reflow Oven Profile, and Wave Solder Recipes.
  • Familiarity with CAM software like UNI CAM or AEGIS is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of ISO 9001 AS9100 practices and IPC-610-A Workmanship Standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Program Management, and other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless workflow.
  • Support the production schedule to meet customer satisfaction and revenue targets.
  • Continuously monitor processes and operations, leveraging training and experience to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in generating and reporting process metrics to track performance and drive enhancements.

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in printed circuit board assembly.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preference for candidates with a strong Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical background.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
  • Proven ability to multitask with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Willingness to adapt and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
  • Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card status is required.
