THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CONTRACTOR TO BE LOCAL TO THE GRAND PRAIRIE, TX SITE.
THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CONTRACTOR TO HAVE EITHER A BS OR MS IN ELECTICAL ENGINERING ONLY. DEGREES IN OTHER ENGINEERING FIELDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Job Description:
Client is seeking an E3 Engineer with Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMC/EMI) test experience to support multiple LOBs, including IAMD, AP/IAMD-AP, and TM:
• Design products to survive electromagnetic environmental effects,
• Develop requirements based on program requirements and physics rather than legacy program requirements,
• Ensure that designs meet system driven EMI/EMC requirements,
• Work in a multi-disciplined team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers,
• Set up and conduct EMC tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 test standard.

• Required Experience/Skills:
o BSEE with a minimum of 8 years of E3 development experience
o MSEE with a minimum of 6 years of E3 development experience,
o Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464,
o Experience developing EMI/EMC requirements, requirement flow down to subsystems, E3 control plans, design for E3 requirements, and hardware allocation planning,
o Minimum 4 years of EMC testing experience.
o experience with typical lab test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, RF directional couplers, Oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, and RF amplifiers.
o Must be familiar with ESD handling and prevention protocols.

o• Desired Experience/Skills:
o knowledge of E3 effects on military vehicles, fire control systems, missile systems, and munitions, including grounding, bonding, and shielding methods, designs to minimize radiated emissions and susceptibility, HIRF, HERO, and lightning effects, electromagnetic field coupling, Maxwell's equations, image charge/current, and lumped element modeling,
o perform quantitative E3 analysis,
o Knowledge of electrical safety and military EMC compliance standards, requirements, and test methods
o Experience performing testing according to RTCA-DO-160 Sections 18-22,
o Experience with vulnerability characterization,
o Work experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory,
o Able to assist with basic troubleshooting, basic interpretation, and analysis of test results,
o Proficiency in TILE!TM (ETS Lindgren EMC automation software) equipment scripts
o preparation of test plans/procedures and reports

Candidate must have Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance. Not needed to start.
Candidate does not need to be local to the Grand Prairie, TX site.
