Job Description:

We are hiring! We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position location is in Kirkland, WA. The work schedule could be a Hybrid or Remote work opportunity within the US or may be based in one of our Office locations throughout the US depending on applicants' location.

The Electrical Engineer reports to our Chief Electrical Engineer and is responsible for possessing a deep and broad base of knowledge of Engineering Design in Power and Industrial Projects within the US.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Providing electrical engineering design on power and industrial projects.
  • Providing support on project scope and estimating.
  • Providing input to project cost and schedule.
  • Controlling and monitoring design budget.
  • Performing electrical system studies and calculations such as load flow and short circuit analysis, relay coordination and programming, arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection system calculations.
  • Preparing engineering reports, tender and construction drawings, and documents.
  • Preparing equipment specification and selection and performing technical bid evaluation and making recommendations.
  • Preparing power distribution layouts, grounding and lightning protection system design and layouts.
  • Developing wiring diagrams, single line and three line diagrams and schematic diagrams.
  • Sizing and specifying electrical equipment.
  • Developing high voltage substation physical and protection and control system design.
  • Assisting with field construction, commissioning, and vendor factory acceptance tests.
  • Ability to effectively interact with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI and IEEE standards and recommended practices.
