Job Summary:
The Refrigeration Technicians will provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team. They will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment, as well as conducting emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. Troubleshooting issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and minimizing downtime due to equipment failure are essential aspects of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective equipment operation.

Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.

Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.

Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment safely.

Interact effectively with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.

Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.

In-depth knowledge: Refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.

Nice-to-have Skills:

Additional experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.

Further in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

Proficiency in basic computer skills for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Strong communication and basic math skills required.

Note: Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings, with leveling determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
