Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various projects. They will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for various projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems

Conduct detailed calculations to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems

Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation

Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and schedules

Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems

Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during project implementation

Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering technology

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and project stakeholders

Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress reports to project managers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards

Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering design tools

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
