Title: Associate Electrical Engineer

Location: New Orleans, LA

Type: Perm

Must have 2 years experience as an Electric Engineer in a Refinery/Power Plant or some kind of Energy Plant. (for instance, Electrician in a Plastic company won't be considered)

Responsibilities:

Candidate will develop knowledge and understanding of the complete Plant Electrical System, and equipment and will be assigned tasks including but not limited to:

Switchgears (138kV, 4.16kV, 480V)

Motor Control Centers (MCC)

Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS)

Transformers

Energy Management Systems (EMS/SCADA)

Electrical System Studies

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Power Systems

2 years experience as an Electric Engineer in a Refinery/Power Plant of some kind of Energy Plant.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite

Familiarity with Power Systems Modelling Tools such as ETAP/SKM is preferable
