Job Details
  • Create drawings using Solid Edge 3D and AutoCAD 2D software, adhering to established engineering and manufacturing protocols.
  • Develop, test, and enhance wiring harnesses and new products under the direction of the Equipment Manager.
  • Design, program, integrate, and validate PLC and/or HMI control systems for equipment operation.
  • Manage the product life cycle from research and design through prototyping, testing, production implementation, and field performance evaluation.
  • Execute Engineering Change Notices and distribute documentation as required.
  • Generate drawings and schematics for components and assemblies of varying sizes.
  • Collaborate on the creation and revision of Operator Manuals and related documentation as directed by the Equipment Engineering Manager.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive part numbers and associated data for procurement and manufacturing purposes.
  • Input and maintain Bills of Material and Manufacturing Routes using SAP manufacturing software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • 4 years of experience in electrical design and application
  • Proficiency in wire harness and connection design with practical implementation experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and ERP/MRP software, preferably SAP.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software, Solidworks or equivalent
  • Experience in Human Machine Interface/Programmable Logic Controls and related software programming; familiarity with IEC61131 standards, - Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Structured Text (ST), and Ladder (LDR) languages is desirable.
