AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Transportation Engineer to be based in Omaha, NE.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide specialized technical rail input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

Serve as technical advisor for team as rail technical resource: assess compliance to client specifications, advise on permitting for construction, and recommend alternatives when projects move into construction.

Develop rail study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

Participate in interdisciplinary review of rail project deliverables, including survey, Geotech, and structures.

Develop rail construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for rail projects.

Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of rail PS&E package.

Prepare rail technical specification sections.
