Job DetailsJob Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing/Process Engineer with expertise in non-woven materials. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance production methods, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes related to non-woven materials.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall production performance.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for non-woven materials.
Implement measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Technology Integration:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and advancements in non-woven manufacturing.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methodologies to enhance production capabilities.
Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Work closely with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions and implement preventive measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to drive a holistic approach to process improvement.
Participate in cross-functional teams to address specific challenges and implement solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
Generate reports on key performance indicators, trends, and project status.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing/process engineering, preferably in non-woven materials.
Strong understanding of non-woven manufacturing processes and equipment.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
