The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, or systems related to autonomous solutions within our mining division. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and test electrical equipment, components, or systems applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering.
2. Develop electrical products and systems to meet customer specifications.
3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define product requirements and specifications.
4. Conduct research to produce design solutions, innovations, and new product concepts.
5. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards.
6. Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault to create and manage electrical designs and documentation.
7. Implement and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in industrial control systems.
8. Utilize lidar technology for high-precision mapping and surveying.
9. Track and manage project tasks and progress using Jira in an Agile environment.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault.
4. Familiarity with National Electrical Code and other safety standards.
5. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
6. Experience with lidar technology.
7. Proficient in using Jira for project management.
8. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
12. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
