We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent role offering an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects within the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components to required specifications. The role will focus on economy, quality, reliability, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
2. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
3. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
4. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
5. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
6. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
7. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
8. Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
9. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
10. Develop and program PLC and HMI software.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, or systems.
3. Proficient in the use of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
4. Strong understanding of electrical machines and design software.
5. Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, components, and devices.
6. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical drawings.
7. Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI).
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong organizational and project management skills.
12. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
13. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
