Job Details

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience with transportation and roadway design
  • Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads, and/or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with MDT or DOT projects
  • PE licensure for Montana, or ability to obtain

Responsibilities:
  • Design and plan production of highway/roadway improvement projects: including horizontal/vertical alignments, ADA compliance, drainage design, utilities relocation, etc
  • Provide technical support for alignments, grade, hydraulics, ROW, etc
  • Create proposals and define scope for new projects
  • Active involvement in the project development process, review design calculations for QA/QC purposes, control budgets, and maintain schedules
