We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic Permanent Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Lighting Design. This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our reputed Engineering firm where innovation, creativity, and technical expertise are highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing lighting designs for various projects, including healthcare facilities, corporate offices, retail spaces, and more. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, lighting calculations, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). The candidate must be proficient in Revit and have the ability to prepare comprehensive construction documents.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement innovative lighting designs for a variety of projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
2. Conduct detailed lighting calculations and simulations using specialized software.
3. Prepare thorough construction documents, including designs, diagrams, layouts, and notes, using Revit.
4. Perform thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
5. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other engineering professionals to integrate lighting designs into overall project plans.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the lighting design and electrical engineering fields.
7. Ensure all designs and installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on lighting design.
3. Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software for creating detailed designs and construction documents.
4. Solid understanding of electrical systems and the ability to conduct accurate lighting calculations.
5. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
6. Experience in healthcare design is a plus but not mandatory.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design challenges.
9. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
10. Must be authorized to work in the country.
