We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative, experienced professional to apply their skills in a company that values forward-thinking and innovative solutions. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of our engineering operations, including A&E, MEP, and Building projects. You will be expected to use your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and to lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical equipment, components, and systems using principles of mechanical engineering.
2. Collaborate with project managers to prepare and implement project plans and schedules.
3. Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
4. Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
5. Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and soliciting observations from operators.
6. Provide engineering support for the production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
7. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
8. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in the use of A&E, MEP, and Building projects.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
5. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical system design and applications.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
7. Excellent planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
8. Ability to lead, manage and coordinate the work of others.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
10. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
11. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
