We are currently seeking an adept Mechanical Engineer to join our client's expanding team. Our client specializes in providing design solutions for a diverse range of projects spanning industrial, municipal, educational, commercial, and medical sectors. This position entails project management duties, encompassing project planning, execution, review, and finalization within specified deadlines and budgetary constraints. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior staff members and overseeing mechanical engineering processes throughout project phases. Job Details

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Master's Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or medical engineering consulting or design, with comprehensive knowledge of major MEP systems
- Demonstrated design expertise for buildings within an MEP or AE design firm setting
- P.E. certification in mechanical engineering and MEP Design experience are highly desirable

Responsibilities, Skills, and Accountabilities:

- Develop and review technical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of floor plans, site plans, and other drawings for complex structures
- Design systems, conduct sizing, layout, and component selection for plumbing and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster strong team relationships and effectively liaise with clients
- Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities
- Capable of delivering efficient, timely, and courteous service to customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Provide leadership and support within the office environment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong technical writing skills for report and documentation preparation.
