Development Process Engineer

6-month contract with high possibility of extension
Pay rate: $35-40/hr.

Job Description:
Design, install, commission, validate, and start-up manufacturing process systems for ingredient preparation, liquid processing, CIP, spray drying, dry blending, powder handling, retort processing, and aseptic processing within Abbott Nutrition.
Ensure compliance of process parameters and operational conditions with USDA and FDA regulations.
Refer to the detailed job description provided by the manager for specific duties.

Skills:
Minimum 1 year experience applying engineering knowledge in Food or Pharma environments.
Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Familiarity with plant control software, including PLC / HMI and SCADA systems.
Experience with liquid aseptic processing/filling and powder processing/wet mixing in the food industry.
Proficiency in engineering project management.
Technical background in healthcare, nutritional products, or similar industries is preferred.
